Jorja's Way

I love how young children can slaughter word pronunciation. Jorja is right at that age and it is so hard to correct her because how she says things is so stinkin' cute. Jorja pronounces many consonants with a "wh" sound. Brad and I often will have her repeat the correct sound and then combine it with the word she is trying to say. She likes this so much that she will do the same thing to us. One day she came up to us and said, "Mom, say 'puh puh' whitmas!" which cracked us up because there isn't even a 'puh' sound in Christmas!

I call my three kids "my kiddies" so Jorja came up to me and said, "Mom, you hab fwee titties!"

Today she peed all over the bathroom floor. We asked her when she did it and her reply was, "aper dat." That stands for "after that" and it was so obvious to her what exactly "that" was referring to but it didn't quite connect with us.

The other day she tried to pat my chest and said, "Mama, you have pwetty nipmoles." For some reason, all my kids call breasts "nipples" and apparently, Jorja thinks mine are quite lovely!
